This video is humorous and a bit emarassing to look back on. In Mr. Harm’s Honor’s English class we were tasked with the opportunity to make a Satire Project. There weren’t many parameters that I rememeber. We chose to make a satirical video based around the fact that we thought Rock Band could teach us how to play instruments, even though it doesn’t directly transfer over.
Mr. Harm loved the video, we obvioulsy put quite a bit more time into our project compared to some of the other students. Keep in mind, this is back when Youtube was blocked on the school computers. We were very proud of this video back then!
A sidenote is that I was regularly on the morning announcements, because I was in Broadcasting for Channel 98 at Eagle High School.
Mr. Harm thought the most satirical thing in our project was that I was nice, quiet and sweet but then I sang a, “Screamo” song. Paramore isn’t exactly “screamo” music, but the name stuck. For the rest of my high school career I was called, “Screamo Thompson”.
My first company was launched in 2010. I rightfully called it, “Screamo Productions.”
